After much hard work researching, fundraising and cooking sausages – our defibrillator is finally installed!
For those who are unaware, a defibrillator is assistance when someone cannot breath and is used to ‘jump start’ their heart. In conjunction with DRABCD – the use of breaths and compression’s – these can be life saving acts in an emergency.
Thanks to Jenny Cogan and her hard working team, as well as an anonymous donation from a club member, we were able to rally the funds to purchase this defib for both Club Members, Coaching Team and Hall Hirers to use if needed. Conveniently located in the foyer of the Club House – it is easily accessed by all.
