Winter Pennant Teams

We have three Open teams in this 2016 Winter Tennis West League.

Div 3 Mens plus a Div 1 and Div 4 Ladies are competing well in their respective divisions, with the Men and the Div 4 Ladies in third position while the Div 1 Ladies are in 2nd.

Coming to the last round, we would like to congratulate the teams on their efforts this season and wish them all the best for the following Semi Finals.

Coming into the Summer Season, there will be teams lodged in Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday Leagues.

Winter School Holidays

These July School Holidays we have our usual program of fun, fitness and tennis!

Holiday Camps offered every week day, full and half day options for your child to learn, enjoy and keep active on the tennis court. Great for total beginners and for those already involved in our program.

In the second week our ANZ Hot Shots Challenges are once again going ahead for Red, Orange, Green and Yellow ballers! A great, fun tournament for those looking at a taster of tournaments before they consider playing Tennis West Sanctioned Tournaments.

Head Coach Rick is also running some Performance Camps for our serious young guns. Invitational for players in our program, or for those outside players please contact [email protected] to see if your child is eligible. These focus on intensity, fitness, strategies and technique for the Tennis West tournament schedule.

After much hard work researching, fundraising and cooking sausages – our defibrillator is finally installed!

For those who are unaware, a defibrillator is assistance when someone cannot breath and is used to ‘jump start’ their heart. In conjunction with DRABCD – the use of breaths and compression’s – these can be life saving acts in an emergency.

Thanks to Jenny Cogan and her hard working team, as well as an anonymous donation from a club member, we were able to rally the funds to purchase this defib for both Club Members, Coaching Team and Hall Hirers to use if needed. Conveniently located in the foyer of the Club House – it is easily accessed by all.
